Default Opinions from my fellow 4.6 folks

Before people start bitching about this being OT, get over it. I am asking my friends and others their opinions on this question.

Yesterday, I went and test drove the new 2008 Powerstroke King Ranch F-250. I absolutely loved it. They are now available with Nav. system, satellite radio and the new 6.4 liter twin turbo Powerstroke.

Now, here's my question...should I trade in my current 2006 Powerstroke FX4 F-250 on the new one or not. I hate buying a car the first year they are made with major changes. Me and mrscode are gonna go back to the dealership on Sunday and take it for the day to make sure she likes it. Thoughts?? THANKS guys.

Do it, 5" turbo back exhaust, and Banks Power Management/ Bully Dog Management, and you'll have a SICK truck!

I mean anything Code touches, gets built, why not a 12 second truck too

They have TOTALLY changed the truck. It felt pig slow compared to mine, but nothing a tuner can't cure.

I'd do it, they're pretty sweet. Although as far as looks I say your truck has the +1 right now... Maybe the new front ends will grow on me eventually...

I dont know about buying the first year on a new engine, but if your cool with that then I would do it. The new 6.4 does sound very promising!

Why not sell your truck, and take this one out on a lease? You could trade it in every year or two. I think that's what I would do.
