Default Exhaust/Emissions

I have a 97 GT as per my sig belowe. However, I have some questions about my exhaust and emissions. My car currently has a dumps and LT headers with the stock exhaust following. Due to the length of the dumps, I had to get rid of 4 of the 6 cats. The only cats I now have are the last 1 on either side. I want to know if that will be enough for me to pass emissions, since my check engine light is still on. And I would also like to know, if there is any way I can get around emissions, I live in Seattle, Washington and was wondering if there is some way I might be able to get out of the testing.

I don't know if this is correct, so correct me if I am wrong anybody, but I have heard that if you run 93 octane and maybe some octane boost you can pass the emissions test as long as they don't look under the car and see the missing cats. Like I said, just what I've heard, never tried it. I live in TN and we don't have those tests.

What you need to do is get a tuner. With that, you can turn off the rear 02`s. Therefore, the CEL light wont come on and you will pass unless they do a visual inspection. Then your screwed.

So once my light is off they won't care. What about my numbers. With only 1 cat on each side, will I be able to get past the emissions test?

If the check engine light was not on, could he pass it the way I described. I didn't know if you meant it was wrong because of the engine light or that method. Thanks.
