Default Eliminator Switch Chip

Hey guys, i have a few questions about this thing. Does anyone here have one? Second where is the best place to get one? I plan on running nitrous so i guess it would be best to get one? Also how exactly do you put new tunes on it? Can i have it sent to me with the tunes on it or do i have to have an X-cal to put them on? I know alot about cars but this is one area that i never really understood so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

I assume your are talking about the SCT Eliminator Chip. I am planing on getting one to run nitrous. I suggest gettingthe chipdyno tunedrather than getting the mail order tune. The best place to get the chipis your local SCT dealer that is going to dyno tune it. Or you can get it from americanmuscle.comwhich may be a little cheaper. But make sure your shop will still tune it if you did not buy it from them. American muscle sells a bezel that replaces your coin holder so you can can your tune on the fly when you want to run nitrous. I plan to get the chip and the bezel and have my local shop dyno tune me one tune for NA and one for Nitrous.

You can get a Nitrous tune and run it all the time, but depending on your shot the shop may change your timing which could result in a loss of a few HP. I am just going to get both done because I don't think it will be too much more money.I want the maximum HP possible for both NA and Nitrous. And I am adding a few different mods, see sig. I also don't plan on doing anything else performance wise. Cams, heads, and supercharger are too expensive. Hopefully I will be happy with the 100 shot.
