i know that you cant use a shaker hood with a root or twin screw s/c but what about a centri? im guess that you can but what would i need to make it work? i saw kit on classic design concept to convert the hood to be compatable with the s/c but is that all i need? i appreciate any info. thanks.

I belive you actually can make it work. I saw a guy with a shaker hood, could have been a mach 1 (does kb make a kit for these?) and a kb. One guy asked if the shaker still shakes and his responce was "oh yea, it shakes"

It may sound like I'm talking out of my a** but I'm sure if you do a little searching you'll find the guy who did it.

all of the blown machs i have seen have left the shaker not functional. why would you need ram air when you're forcing compressed air in? those machs i have seen still have the shaker on, but it's strictly for looks.

i just want the hood for look exclusively...not worried about functionallity. if i could get the hood to shake with the kb that would def be a plus but if i cant its not the end of the world. thanks guys.
