Default s/c + clutch

How long will my stock clutch last once I install my supercharger? Is it going to be toast the first time I go WOT through all the gears?

Ihear everyone say you NEED to upgrade to a more beefy clutch with a blower...but I dont see why. If your not getting on it a lot and being harsh on it why wouldnt it last. Any one else have an opinion?

25% of the people that say that go to the track like every weekend and run their car hard. 73% that say that have never had a blower in their stang. 2% that do have it and say it just upgraded the clutch with the blower cause they heard it from the other 73%.

I mean I'm planning on upgrading it eventually but I was just curious as to if its going to last until I do. With that much more power is it going to gradually wear out or just get shredded one time?

ur stock clutch will be fine running just 8 psi. It may slip if you up the boost and beat on it hard continuously but it def wont be toast the first time you get on it. Your biggest concern is it slipping not exploding
