Ok, so the other day I order my mgw shifter. I ran outside to check and see once again which tranny I had, I always thought I had the t-45, I check and I didn't see a k so I ordered the t-45. I get home from school this morning and start to install, and when I'm about to put the other shifter on, I notice that it doesn't fit in the tranny hole. I call them and tell them my prob and we check my vin again and it turns out that I have the 3650.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! I did all that work just to put it back together. I am so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone else done something this stupid?

Not something along those technical lines but... I did something really really stupid once. Gave the keys of my Corvette to a friend...

That sucks man, I just felt so dumb when he said that b/c I was like how did I miss that! Now I have to wait another week for it to get here and probably another week after that to put it on!

The dumbest thing I did is relative to yours. I didnt take my handle off while removing my lower shift boot and tore the **** outta my lower shifter boot. Use my mistake as a key when installing yours. REMOVE YOUR STOCK HANDLE BEFORE YOU TAKE OUT YOUR STOCK SHIFTER
