are 255 55 r17 to big for the fron of my car

are 255 55 r17 to big for the front or back or should i go 255 55 r17 on back and 245 45 r17 on front

55? That is a lot of sidewall man. Go for 45, or 40.

On stock rims? I would do 245/45`s in the front and 275/40`s out back.

thanks see it has 255 55 r17 on the front now but they r rubbing and i dont like how it does i already have to replace one and thats costing me a pretty penny

55 is a whole lotta sidewall on a mustang with 17's

I have 275/40/17 on the front and have not had any problems with them rubbing, but yeah I would agree with the others and you wanna go with 45 or 40. 55 is too much sidewall and that why you are rubbing.
