You do not need a tach driver. Wire it to your stock tach. Take out your guage cluster and find the wiring harness. I have a Phantom Tach mounted above the dimmer switch. Perfect for me.

you cant wire it in with the tach, you have to have the tach adaptor. easy install i thought.

your tach is different from mine...99 or 00+ have to have the adaptor

"real racers" rotate their tach so redline points straight up on the dial. You can then very quickly see your RPM point without reading tiny numbers

You still should be able too. Your stock tach works off the same concept as the monster tach. It just feeds off the signal. I get the power and the ground from the same harness.

autometer had a writeup on it and why it wouldnt work. actually the two tachs are different. i know for a fact that my year had to have the adaptor.
