Well this will mainly be a venting post cause I am so frustrated with this. Ive got a noise coming from my engine that sounds like a squeeking mouse. Car idles fine but when I rev it up and engine starts to shake a bit, it starts making that noise and then leaves when I rev it past like 3500rpms. Sometimes the noise just goes along with the rpms, gets faster. At first I thought it might be a loose bracket or the header lock bolt clips but noise seems to be coming from on top of transmission area and sometimes it sounds like its coming from the headers. Think an exhaust leak can cause that squeeking noise? I have an Auto tranny and it makes the noise in Parking, Reverse or in Drive.

Check for a leaking intake manifold gasket. It could be air whistling by.

Did you try putting a mouse trap by your radiator fan?

setup some mouse traps near: the alternator, battery, radiator and the left shock

Did you recently do anything to the intake? Check and make sure all your hoses/lines are connected.
