grind/ rattle noise in 5th gear... help!
hey i just got my first mustang... 2001 black gt coupe... and i noticed that when i shift into 5th gear at about 3000 rpm in 4th i hear a slight grind or rattling noise (more of a rattle).. is similar to the sound you hear when yuo shift into say 3rd too eary, bu i no im not shifting to early... is it a normal noise? or do i need a new gear? (its got 77,000 miles on it)

does it stay. .. or is it just when u shift in? Make sure the clutch is all the way in, and see if u smell a clutch smell, yur clutch could be going, or yur 5th gear syncros could be shot

its not when i shift in, its when im in gear accelerating (if im coasting it doesnt make the noise)just in 5th.. its when im on the highway so the car isnt cold and i got a new clutch when i bought it about 4k miles ago... i dont thinki coulda done that much damage that fast haha
ps- mvr our cars are twins, imthinking about getting the accufab tb/p... noticible difference then stock?
