Shifter Installation: Silicone vs Gasket
I am going to be getting a shifter sooner or later. Should I use a shifter gasket or should I just use silicone? Which will be more quiet?

Gasket will be more quieter because any silicone you put on is just gonna get squeezed out but alot of people do it that way.
