Default Exhaust Smell

I have a 96 GT with catless H-Pipe and flowmaster 40 series; I know others here are running the same, or similar setup. Does anyone else have problems with strong exhaust smell inside the car? Very anoying.

That is what you get when you chose to go catless. I have an o/r X and I feel like the gas tank is just pouring out the back. Nothing you can do about it. That is one of the cons of going offroad.

You may have an exhaust leak. Catless exhaust does havea strong smell, but it really shouldn't be that bad inside the car. It sounds like there may bea leak somewhere.

I'm not sure how much you're talking about getting IN the car. Do you mean while driving down the road you're getting exhaust fumes inside the cabin? If so, that sounds kind of odd. I'm running an uncatted H-pipe with my catback and the only time I can smell the exhaust while in the car is if I am stopped, and the breeze is a tail wind so it blows the fumes up towards me. Other than that, I don't think you should be getting a whole lot of smell in the car while moving.

if it's overbearing inside the car, you most likely have a leak indeed

I can smell some fumes from my off-road x-pipe inside my car when i'm not moving. Especially with the right amount of wind.
