Mach 1 chin problem

Default Mach 1 chin problem

Well i got it for Xmas and i just now opened the box. First off i cant get it straight.....also i think they sent me the wrong screws? Its some plastic POS with a screw in it? How do u use these things lol? Or is it the wrong ones? I think it is cuz there is like 20 of them in the bag...I got it from AM if that tells ya anything

they sent you the right screws you have to drill holes and then pushthem trough if im thinking right you will want to take a hair dryer and heat it up and it will straighten out

So..i push the plastic screw part through and then screw in the screw? And im assuming u use the hair dryer when its off the car and just do the best you can to get it straight? Hm and if you recall exactly what size drill bit did you use?

When you screw in the screw, it expands the wall of the cone shaped insert the screw is in and it keeps the whole screw assembly from backing out. Its not a bad method and it should work fine. I think those screws are typical for mounting the inner wheel well to front fenders on most cars.

i didnt use a hairdryer, i taped it in place temporarily and had a buddy hold it flush while i drilled the holes.
