Just wondering do 98 mustang gt's have posi rears? do both tires spin at the same time or only one? im asking because today i was stuck on some ice and it seemed like only one of my tires were spinning. the rear passenger one.

limited slip....600lb locker i believeYou should be able to spin both tires evenly on dry pavement when you dump your clutch and they should stop pretty much the same time

tranny's have nothing to do with the differential. It may be harder for you to spin the tires, but the locker in the rear end is the same as my 5spd 97. I can burn both tires equal length through first and half of second if I dump the clutch! There's a post in the for sale section for 4:10 gears and install kit for like $210 you should pik-that up! It's a perfect match for auto's.

You can build a diff rebuild kit and have it installed when you put gears in

if only one wheel is spinning, you may have a blown clutch pack in there.
