i got a stock 96gt 5spd and launch about 3-4rpms and tires dont spin and im doing 14.5 1/4 and 2.0 60' with a stock car with 160000 miles on the car and people powershift but i dont think it is worth messing somethign up. but it is all about the driver and the track condition. but i only got 4 runs in with my car and that was my first and only time taken to the track and my other runs were crap but i got it down on my last run. alot of people dont beleive im pullen time like that fast with a STOCK car but i have the time slip here.

He doesnt have drag radials (unless he just put em on). the 99+ is gonna do that with almost full bolt ons and street tires every time.

GET SOME D/Rs jd, they arnt as bad as everyone says on rain or so far as tire life.

my 98 ran a 14.899 bone stock now i got a steeda short throw mac fender intake and gears should be in the low 14s

I have a bone stock '96 5spd and ran 15.0 flat on street tires, with most the tread burned off, haha. That's with the stock 2.73 gears. Your exhaust and 3.27's should easily get you in the high 14's I'm guessing.

Can a car that traps 91.02mph get into high 14s? Mine did, but I really need to practice launching.

ya i definately think a 96 mustang should get into high 14s all stock, i was there when eskine ran his 14.5 all stock, and yes his car is all stock. he just gets really good launches, and has quick shifts. i think the launch is the most important part of the race. you just have to practice on keeping them 60fts down.
