First half of suspension on

First half of suspension on
I got the front suspension work and brakes done last night, only took about 3 hours (including screwing up with the calipers on the wrong side...they don't bleed too well like that).
The brakes are a definte improvement, even with light braking. Pedal feels much better and it just stops alot faster.
The front end definatly rises up better, but I still have zero traction in 1st gear and loosing it in 2nd.. hopefully this is a combonation of the rear suspension still being stock and the below 30 degree weather + slight dampness of the roads.
Ran into a bad *** 5.0 LX notch last night that gave me a lession on launching. Guy was running a 306 with full suspension, cage, etc etc. 2800 pounds without driver... wow.
Got him from a roll though. Hopefully I will have something for him off the line once the rest of the suspension goes on today and the weather warms up a bit.
On the other hand, after we raced I took a ride in it with the juice on. Nothing like going from a low 12 second car to a 10 second car with the flip of a switch. Hands down, with the juice flowing its the fastest ride I have been in.

RE: First half of suspension on
About half way thru the rear install now... blueoval sent me the wrong bolts though. I got 6 shorter bolts and 2 longer ones instead of 4 and 4, so were waiting on the parts to get here.
Not nearly as bad of a job as I thought it was going to be. Nothing is going back in yet (other than one lower control arm) but its been easy taking it apart anyway.
