lowering springs and launching
does having your car lowered really affect how you can launch it, ive kinda heard it does but never have really been explained as to why sperings would affect it. could someone please help?

RE: lowering springs and launching
When you put lowering springs on the rear it makes the suspension MUCH stiffer. Thus not allowing weight transfer so you have a tendency to spin a lot easier because there is not as much weight on the wheels.

shorter springs usually have to be stiffer to keep the suspension from bottoming out, not to mention most folks want handling not weight transfer. A good mix between the two is 4cy fox springs on the front and cut v8 springs on the rear. thats what I've got.

I rarely bottom out and when I do its because someone is in the back seat.
