I really like this hood pin set up.A friend (the one who helped me with the install) bought them for me for Christmas. The pins do not come off, they are attached to the bracket which is mounted to the hood. That way you don't have to worry about misplacing the pins or having the metal wires. It's a very clean look.

The pins aren't as easy as you'd think huh?

I think I know my way around a garage, but I have to admit, I was a little intimidated when I firsttook on my hood pin install. ...but like you said, it's good to take your time and drill carefully.

Looks good on silver.
