Default Check out my sound deadening project.

Ok everyone knows theres a difference in sound deadening between a honda civic and like a mercedes. Theres a big difference... Well my car I hated how loud my car was. I was almost ready to get a new cat-back because it was giving me a damn headache. Well so I went the route of sound deadening... Let me tell you, theres a major improvement. I should have done this along time ago! My stock stereo sounds so much better now. I dont hear half the road noise now, i dont have to have my stereo up so loud to overcome the exhaust... Its feels alot more luxurious now.... Its funny I can be walking to my car and hear all the noise of the cars driveing around, the wind and all other background noise, and when i get in my car and close it. It just shuts about 90% of it out. My doors close with a more thud than a tinny sound. Overall I am so happy and just wanted to share my project and give anyone any ideas and mabye inspire someone else to do the samething if there getting annoyed at how aloud it is in our mustangs.

Wow, great job, looks awesome. I wanna redo my interior this summer, stripping it and making it black, rather than the two tone black and gray, and i think ill definitly do the sound deadening. How much it all set you back?

600, ouch. But it will help with sound, and drone, especialy when i get an O/R H pipe. Yea, the 2 tone was fun at first, but an all black interior is just awesome

Looks awesome... You definitely have my attention... I'm kinda a newb to that stuff.. how much does all that weigh?.. I would think that to kill the sound it would be a pretty dense material making it pretty heavy..

The shipping weight was 66lbs. but i still have more foam to install so right now i probably have around 55lbs. really nothing in my eyes... i can always make more power to make up for that.. Eventually i am going to make a rear seat delete and that will even it out back to stock weight almost.
