Default Engine Swap

I was wondering if the 5.0L cammer engine will fit into a 2002 mustang gt. Has anybody done this or heard of it being done and what was the result. Thanks for your replies.

I don't know why it wouldn't fit It's just a upgraded 4.6L DOHC. But for $15,000 seems like you can upgrade your 2V and be just as happy.
I believe a member on here has a Cammer in his race car. Try Pm'ing DAVIDK

y would u ever want that motor unless u got it for free or dirt cheap. thats a ridiculous price and for such little power and modability. for 15000 i would by a 427 man o war block with 600 hp stock than turbo that up to 1100 hp for all under 18000. but thats jmo.

Anyone else see that S197 GT that someone put a 427 in? That engine looked right at home in that car.[sm=drooldude.gif]
