NGK TR55 ok for 125 shot??

Default NGK TR55 ok for 125 shot??

so i went to autozone yesterday and asked for some tr6's but they didnt have any so i got some tr55ix instead. Will these be ok for a 125 zex shot? They came gapped at .050 will this be a good gapp also?

well your bet bet is to get TR6's and close the gap top .35-.40

If all you do is run the track tr-5's are good. They are 2 steps cooler. The TR-6's are 1 step and are good for modified street cars. The gap should be .035 for non-boosted and .030 for boosted. I would do .030 for a 125shot and if you dopped down to a 75 then gap at .035 DO NOT gap it over .035 as this will defeat the purpose of going top a cooler plug. Gapping plugs more than .035 run the plug hotter which means =detonation especially under boosted applications
