Don't believe stuff on TV or in mags!
People that say this **** really **** me off.You wont believe mags or tv but you'll take advise from someone on a forum who could be a mentally challenged 9 year old and not think twice about it.
Its highly possible to free up that much power with full synthetic fluids.
i dont i only believe it when i see time slips, you can make a dyno read whatever the hell you want, if i wanted, my bone stock v6 can dyno 420 rwhp, theres no way to make up for a 15 second quarter mile

and yes, i will believe people on here over TV and mags, people on here are pasionate about cars, and actually own them, i will turn to here for advice before anything else its like whatever mag did the 5.0 budget build up a few years ago and got 320 HP, most people i know got around 280 from the same setup

I dont know if it gives you 8 whp but deff a little through a reduction of friction

I didn't see the ad, however most likely the oil that was in the Camaro had several thousand miles on it--replacing well-used oil with any clean oil will increase power. Ameaningful test would have flushed the engine, then tested new brand X vs. new RP...[/align]

Horspower increase or not, I can't beileve you guys don't run full synthetic fluids in your car anyway. If you care about your mustang, you should be running full synthetics, although I don't think that any particular brand is better than another (so long as its name brand).

I can't tell that it will increase horsepower, but I do know my car takes about twice as long to heat up with the full syn motor oil compared to before, and thats gotta say something about the friction.

(not that I have this issue) A well renowed mech told me that up past 420 HP synthetic is garbage and to stick with regular oil at those ratings..... I don't have those ratings so I use Mobil 1

I was watchinghorse power TV this morning and they took a stock camero and base lined it, i forgot the exact numbers then they changed all the oils the engine the tranny and the diff to royal purple and they gained 8HP TO THE WHEELS! then they showed how they made this stuff and its so complicated it goes through so many tests through the lab before they even start producing it then they couldnt show the viewers exactly how the process was that it was made and what was in it thats how secert they are about the procees and the forumla
Really? A camero? Come on the first one came out 40 years ago I think we should be able to spell it by now...camAro
