Best shocks

I went to e-shocks to start looking around. I can get a set of Bilstein BTS shocks for $752.05, however that does not include the axle wraps. I can also get Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks for $716.30 for a set of 6 shocks/struts (including axle wraps).

Are these the best shocks for the money? Should I go with these, or should I go with another shocks manufacturer?

Thank you!

Why do you want to spend that kind of money on shocks/struts?

RE: Best shocks

You must have lots of ca$h to pay that for just shocks/struts.
Bilsteins are good and there are other good brands out there.

You need to tell people what your plans are for the car before anyone can give advice on the set up. Is it a DD? You taking it to the track? You commute on the highway a lot?
Are you changing control arms and putting in subframe connectors? Is the car dropped?

Give some info.

Sorry -

This is my DD for mostly highway driving. I dont have a lot of money on me, I just want a better ride than my aging motorcraft shocks that have been on this car since birth (from what I know anyway - have 100k now). The car is still stock height and I may have plans to lower it some, but not a whole lot - maybe a 1 or so..if that.

Thank you for the help!

you can pretty much get any brand of shocks for less than that money, if memory serves.

I've heard that KYB adjustable shocks are pretty good. Not too expensive either.

My drop is around 1.5 and I got KYB GR2's on mine. You can also get KYB AGX's but they are adjustable and I don't think you will need those if you are not going to the track.
Try ebay and you can get a set for real cheap or try stang suspension they are a sponsor.

I have the kyb agx. had 'em for ~20,000 miles, I like them.

it's quite fun to click the dials on the shocks and see what happens when you drive, I must admit. :D

These are what I have, they are fully adjustable strange units. I just got them on and really love em.

Put them in yourself, its pretty easy.
