Default Gauge pod question

I'm about to hit buy on a daul gauge, gauge pod right now but I don't know which to buy. Is there really any reason you should buy the full length one or would a partial length on be just as good?

I'm going to go wtih the ultra-lite II. I'm getting a electric fuel pressure and a mechanical boost. I wish I could afford the wide-band O2 but not yet.

I've seen both and the full length looks factory but the short one always looks like it was added.
If that doesn't matter go with the cheaper one.

Another quick question. Where is the cheapest place to buy auto meter gauges?

Personally, I like the Ford Racing gauges.

I bought a pod from Summit for convertibles. It was a one size fits all and it looks like complete ****. I was pissed off with the fitment so I am ordering one from Speed of Sound (they are the only ones that make a full pillar for verts that i have found).

I recommend a full pillar just because it looks 1000 times better IMO.
