i'd say the cobra is more rare but the mach looks better IMO and a lil bit quicker due to cams and if I am correct they have 3.55s while cobras got 3.27s but dont quote me on that. Mach has better interior also. Yet the cobra has a smoother ride. hmm I'd choose cobra personally since I want my daily driver to be smooth and I can easily make it look better and run faster with the money I save by not getting the mach

id def. get a Mach 1... those cars are soo sexy. pretty much the same motor as a cobra. Shoot id take a mach over an 03 04 cobra. call me crazy but there just mtaylored more to my personal taste

Cobra. IRS ftw. Better interior too. Both have pretty much the same drivetrain short of the rear end. 2001 Cobras are more rare as well. Machs are faster in the 1/4 stock because
a) solid axle hooks better than IRS
b) its lighter because IRS weighs more than the solid rear
c) gearing 3.55 to 3.27 isn't a huge difference but its there.

Well thanks for the input guys. I'm still not completely sure what I'm going to get, but I'm kind of swinging more towards the cobra now. With all the money saved over the mach, I could easily do any mods I could want with all the cash.
Still have about 4 more months before a purchase though[:@] Unless I come across a good deal that I just cant leave alone.

This may help..I was a lucky guy when my girl worked for Ford. I have had an 01 gt, 02 Roush 3, 04 Cobra, and an 04 Mach1. I still have the Mach1. All cars had their pros/cons but IMO, the Mach1 is by FAR the best overall.
