Stock or Forged bottom end

RE: Stock or Forged bottom end
I have had a 2004 GT Mustang. Stock bottom end and ran 150 on nitrous. Plus a few bolt on's. It never missed a beat and i drove it every day. when i sold it it had 60,000 miles on it and still ran like it did when i bought it. I put the nitrous kit on at about 7000 miles and used a 10 lb bottle every 1-2 weeks. i think stock bottom end will be fine under the 500 hp mark. but don't get me wrong, forged is better.

to be on the safeside most GT owners and a few cobra owners prior to 03-04 run 450 or less just to keep the rotating assembly intact. i would say if your plans are for a blower or nitrous then go forged rotating assembly. either way youll have to do it to safely run boost so might as well get it done now
