What are the best gears for a 97 gt vert

4.10s if your not planning on S/C in the future, otherwise, 3.73s

S/C is what

S/C = supercharger. If you have an automatic, I've heard 4.10s are fine with S/C, key word here is "heard" I personally have no experience with a S/C.

If your not going to supercharge go with 3.73's you'll get good performance & there a little cheaper

why go with 3.73? that is perfect for a S/C. i have 4.10's but i have a 5 speed. i actually wish i would have gotten 4.30's. that is just me.

go 4.10 or nothing at all

I'm having my 4.10s installed Thursday, finally damn back order, anyway, I did alot of research and what you see here is true. Though I've seen people argue you can use 4.10s on a 5-spd S/C. I'm gonna try it eventually, I can always change to 3.73s, but since I wont be S/C for a few years I got the 4.10s now.
