I think it look weird without having the Mach 1 hood. Just looks out of place on the regular GT hood.

Hmm, I am really keen to get the same piece, not too keen on chopping up the hood though. Does anyone know if I bought a used Mach1 hood does the Shaker Ram Air kit line up with it properly? Would be a nice way of putting the car back to stock if you ever wanted to sell it and keep your mod for your next mustang (cos why would you buy anything else?)

I heard the set-up will not work with the mach 1 hood.. cause its a lower profile unit....

guess i need to start checking out the local car-shows to see one in person.... unless somebody has some nice big pictures of one....

DONT ge the CDC kit. It sucks. I have had both and am ten times happier with the oem fit. You can't beat the curves of the Mach 1 hood.

What did you do with the CDC kit? What issues did you not like?

How much trouble was it to put the oem pieces together? and how much did it cost?
