Ok ik the bottom end of a gt and cobra are the same so if i got forged internals put a cobra crank would i be able to put cobra heads on it?
no...the engine in the gt and the engine in the cobra are two completely different engines. The cobra engine is a 32 valve Dual Over Head Cam V8 engine obviously with 4 valves per cylinder. The gt is a 16 valve Single Over Head Cam V8 engine. This is not to say you can't make your gt engine a DOHC engine...but for a lot less effort and cost and more gains you'd be better off getting forged internals, stage 1 or 2 cams and porting and polishing your stock heads

nevermind....forging your internals is only worth it if you plan to get a shatload of nos or turbocharger or super charger....they do add some power but its more of a strenghtening mod then a power mod. just port and polish the heads and get some stage 1 cams...you could get stage 2 cams but that requires more supporting mods like new stonger valve springs

Going forged doesn't present any hp gains, I don't think. It sets you up for some, though. If you go forged, you can run more boost with a super charger or turbo charger without having to worry about breaking anything. If you have the money and the desire to keep saving for apower adder, absolutely go forged.

Ok cause im planning on going Kenne Bell or Votech next summer and i wanted my car to be some where in the high 300hp or low 400 hp but wat i was told that even with a supercharger i would get that kind of gain with out having a 4v ,so thats why i was stressing so much about the 4v conversion. but with a port and polishing, cams, valve springs, and a supercharger will i be able to see that power or now?

it does add a little bit of power because its not only stronger but its also lighter meaning it takes less effort to move the internal components...but pointless unless ur getting nos or f/i

if you swap it out, get a bbk 75mm intake,or something along those lines,it's better yet & gives you more HP then the bullit intake

A BBK 75mm is a throttle body. He is speaking of the whole intake. Granted a intake does not give you a lot of power while you are NA, I do not believe there is a throttle body out there that will give you more. Also the intake gives you a good amount of power if you have forced induction. If you want 400 HP you should be ably to get that with a nice blower and an intake, pretty easily.
