Do you have that thing tuned. You could be running real lean and third is where the hp starts to show where as first and second are mainly the torque gears Lean=torqy but for how long... Our cars N/A just fall on their faces in third gear [:@]because the 250ish (guessing cause don't know full extent of your mods) hp really isn't that much to push a car of its weight.

So I fixed the problem..... Bought a blower

haha, bought a blower.....thats a quite exceptional idea....got a Bullitt, it seems to pull through 3rd, but not how i would like.....but ofcourse if im red-lined shifting into 3rd, rpms are high enough to make the power

Yeah you are just out of luck with the stang in 3rd gear unless you have some forced induction or serious rwhp (350+). I have the 3:73s, and they did help with the 3rd gear problem, but nothing like putting a charger, or a shot through the engine.

Mine seems to be sluggish in 3rd too. I have seen top end kits from a few companies which should help. A good H/C/I swap definitely wouldn't hurt. I hate to say this but LS1 top end power is unreal

Tunes are normally 300-400. But it will probably help prolong your engine life because running lean is BAD.

For instance my friend with a Mach 1 put a drop in K&N a catted midpipe and catback on and car would fall on its face. Put it on the dyno and the A/F up top was like 17:1. Thats bye-bye motor area there. Tuned it and it ran like a raped ape.

Black stuff on bumper could be a sign on running RICH, not lean.

My car makes 320rwhp @ 6k rpm, and it still feels crappy in 3rd.

Zack all you need to do is hook up that bottle and press the button. I bet then you will go through third fast!
