Hey, are those vinel insert for the rear bumper any good? do they come off if I bring my car to the car wash? I don't really like the plastic look of the stock side mirror. where can I get a decent looking side mirror for a reasonable price? for a 2000 GT

i have a silver vynal insert on my GT, ive had in on there since the begining of october. i have never taken it through a car wash, only hand wash's.

My vinyl inserts are ok. I had trouble getting the "S" straight, and actually replaced it once because of it. They've been on for about six months, and if you look closely you can see a couple of bubbles that have formed. They still look good though.

The stainless steel inserts would be best, but they are $50 more.

I have black inserts in mine but only hand wash it. Somehow, I don't have any bubbles and they have stayed in pretty well. Make sure you let them sit in warm weather in the sun for a while.
