First and foremost, i would like to say, **** the Sumitomo tire company!!!

My current mods are BBK CAI, Eibach prokit, custom 2.5" o/r x-pipe, custom 2.5" Catback with IMCO mufflers, and custom 93 octane VMP tune with SCT.

These two runs were on Sumitomo 245/45/17's.

R/T .056
60'2.468
330 6.434
1/8 9.670
mph 76.83
1000 12.403
1/4 14.695
mph 98.57

The second and best run on the night.

r/t .111
60' 2.293
330' 6.254
1/8 9.481
mph 76.93
1000 12.202
1/4 14.486
mph 98.72

Can i please have some feed back on this?

Anything I can do better?

On my best run, I slipped the clutch on a 1500 RPM launch shifted to 2nd at 5500, and powershifted the 2nd-3rd at 5500.

Please let me know.

You might be shifting to early into 2nd or 3rd.....I dont know exactly but u still have alot of trap left in your car, 98mph is not too good for ur mods....Im gna go friday with my drag radials[8D]......my best time on street tires was a 2.3 60' 14.4 @ 98 and all i had was flows and a H pipe.....now i added drag radials to cut my 60' down.....but the weather now sucks, i hope it doesnt rain

Its all about that launch. Feather that clutch to make sure for minimal wheel spin. Go hard, but with finesse.

well if i dont shift when i do. Then it will bouce off the rev limiter. So yeah.

just gotta practice shifting quicker down the track and def. work on ur 60 ft. But my 60 was just as bad on bald streets and cai w/flows welded in and i still pulled off a pretty consistent 14.3 @96

well the 60' is that. and then on my 1-2 shift it'll burn through half of second. i need different tires. I HATE SUMITOMO!!!!

if ya got a custom tune by justin he should have pushed the rev limiter back to like 6400ish i think....it was also a little humid today so dont worry.:D

Yeah I'm just worried about blowing this thing up? What time are you heading out there on friday?

You need to bring those 60 foot times down. Did you do a smoking burnout before you ran? If so that could be why. You need to practice launching where you get minimal wheel spin, but still carry enough rpms to not bog. You shouldnt be spinning through have of second, a little spin is expected but not through half. Shift faster, feather the clutch on the launch, find the "sweetspot" rpm to launch at for your car. Lower the pressure in your rear tires a little too(~20psi). Also hot lapping seemed to make a difference on my car too. I ran my best time after letting my car sit 2 hours to cool. Practice is the best way to improve! I
