never had an mgw, but i have had the tri-ax. and wow. theres no way you'll miss a shift with that thing. its soo tight, and short. 2nd to 3rd is like a dream. haha. you'll never miss it.

the best thing IMO about the MGW is the 360degree adjustable handle, if your a shorter guy like myself you need all the help you can get.
