A/F Ratio Gauge Question

A/F Ratio Gauge Question
Since I have all the bolt-ons and stuff and I am a real paranoid person I was thinkin it would be beneficial for me to get a A/F ratio gauge. Now in order to do this without an expensive wideband how can I. I heard something about narrowband but dont understand the whole concept. Also do you think it would look stupid if I got the a-pillar gauge pod for just that one gauge or should I get another gauge to throw in there so it would look better. Any help appreciated.

RE: A/F Ratio Gauge Question
o lol i was about to say the same thing as doughboy.
umm I havent ran it since I put a lot of the stuff on. With the exhaust and gear I ran a 14.01 with a slipping clutch, no type of launchand winter tires lol. I was driving horrible that day, I also blew up my tranny that day. Hopefully when I go back out in April and with some sticky tires I will run a 13.6-13.8 if im not being 2 optomistic.

RE: A/F Ratio Gauge Question
yeah well its not that my car is not capable its just that I had a clutch issue and I dont know why I was launching at 3500...talk about smoke show. Well who know what it will run this spring. With the weather up here and if I can drive good I might get a 13.2-13.3 who knows lol

If it is not a wideband it really is just a cheap light show
