i have heard about our heads blowing out spark plugs anyone know how this helicoil thing works or any other ways to fix this if it happens

With a helicoil you drill the hole out large enough to have a clean hole and get rid of the threads... Then you tape it and put the helicoil in whil basicly looks like a hollow bolt with threads on the inside... then once its in you thread what ever you want through it.... I dont know if you can do this on a hollow hole... Also there obviously weaker than if they didnt have one in... You might have to coat both threads with something to prevent blow by... But if that happened its worth a try... unless it breaks and parts fall in the cylinder...[:@]

i wouldnt reccomend this, i tried that on my last stang and it didnt work. i was going to replace the heads untill i found a couple of cracked pistons. so i just bought a new short block

i know a really good deal on a set of heads because one of the plugs popped out, good idea or pass?

pass. id give you my heads, but the shop i did it at "missplaced" the heads... and the block...
