This is why Irarely ask mechanicalopinionson this board. Some people say this and others say that. Then later, after you spent some hard earned money, you find out you were fed bullsh*t. Just ask around, in person, people at a car cruise or at a reputable shop and they tend to tell you the truth more so than over the internet.
I remember when EVERYONE on this site were telling you to get 4.10's, and if you said you wanted anything less then you were pretty much a puss.

The above is further proof that the 3650 has the lower final gear.
Its not that big of a difference between the 3.73s and 4.10s on either trans, and very small changes in 5th can make up for it (like the .62 to ,67 difference).
I cannot tell you that ALL of the 3650 cars have the .62, as I didn't put them in myself, and I have never seen any documentation that shows that only the .62 trans were put in the mustangs... however I can't see ford putting 2 or 3 diferent 3650s in the cars (would require a different computer tune too for the speedo) and every 01 1/2+ car I have seen has the .62 gear.

tremec lists that there is a 3650 availble with the .67 and the .62. I don't see ford just randomly putting them in the 01 1/2 thru 04 GTs, and as I said, every car I have tested this theory on (that 3.73 = 4.10 with the differnt trans) has proved it true.
