yes you can.

general rule of thumb is retard 2 degrees for every 50 hp.

Ive always wonderd this, when you run higher octane fuel you advance the timing, so what do you do when you have to retard the timing for N2O? Just run normal octane for whe your using N2O?

No you can run high octane with N2O. The only reason you advance timing with high octane is because it can produce more power. You dont have to advance timing to run high octane.

I've always heard 2 degrees for 100hp. Thats what I'm gonna do with mine, along with the plugs

So what if I bought a blank programmer and made timing adjustments and idle, rev adjustments. Would that work without any tunes? I always run 93 Octane just because I live in NY and the Government allows up to 21% of additives like ethanol especially for winter months. I know Mobil does this all year round and Mobil gas sucks!
