alot of poeple are content with their autos, i for one am, they are alot nicer just to be able to have a nice time to drive around not shifting all the time, but auto does take the fun down a little bit more since you can't decide which gear you want it to be in after 2nd. also many poeple make it seem like all autos are slower than manuals, trying to make it sound like if you have an auto, all manuals can beat it, that's far from true so you still can have a lot of fun with an auto when you look at it.

ok another little factore i wanna through in. There are a few back roads in my town, not for straight away by any means, a lot of twist and turns and stuff i like driving down them on occasion. Now being new to a stick and if i do buy one, would it be a good idea to be driving down them if i do decide to buy a stick?

btw i ask that question because last year a kid at my school crashed his 5.0 5 spd because he shifted while changing lanes and hit a school bus
