That would be an nice race to see. I hope you win, with traction I think you would. Are you guys racing on the street, and how well you would hook on D/R with 700hp? I do belive the vanquish has all wheel drive.
There are cars running 8's-9's on DR's. One of our locals has a 2000 GT with a TT 347 stroker that put down over 1000 rwhp running 8.60's on DR's I believe.

8's?? watch out.. its getting deep

the Vanquish most certainly does NOT have AWD

the one in the movie actually did...it was crazy...they adapted it from the Explorer for that ice chase...i forgot which one but it also had a Ford V8 in it too

Your going to suck his doors off until you simply run out of top end.

8's seem kinda fast for what i will have... not sure a heavy convertible can pull those kinda times without some serious suspension/tire work...

My guess is that you would win in the 1/4th and from a roll but, it depends on how high you go to. You have the power, less weight, and a tuned suspension. I think you have it.

With the kind of weight distribution (ie crappy) that the mustang has, I don't think that would be anything but a losing proposition on a road course. Strait line, however, no problem as long as you can drive.
