That sounds way to expensive... I payed $100 for 1 hour of tunning... In CT... He put three tunes on my SCT tuner. My friend got 3 pulls for $100 and I went to a place in NC and he wanted $200 for a NA and nitrous tune.Screw that guy im waiting until I go back to CT to get it tuned. You could buy SCT Pro Racer software and make your own tunes for $300.. http://www.sctflash.com/product_racer.php
As long as you have a SCT tuner to upload them to and then flash your cars computer with it... Then get a wideband 02 Sensor.. Then you can make as many tunes as you want.

There are two shops near me. One charges 300 and the other 450.

What does the tune include?

Many shops give their estimates with the price of a handheld tuner factored in.

Sounds like he is charging you $150 per tune... The local dynos around me charge $150 per tune, but will make as many runs as needed to nail the tune.
