Default 2000 gt rear end

I have a 2000 GT with a standard differential. I want to put in a posi unit. How can I tell if I have a 28 or 31 spline unit and are all 2000GT's 8.8?

ok...if you have a GT then you have a posi differential (or as ford calls in a trac lock). All GTs come with em and they are the 8.8 rear end. As for splines, stock is 28.

All sn-95 gt's come with 8.8 rear ends, the 7.5's are in the v6's. They are all 28 spline if stock, and trac locks are garbage on a dd car that will rarely see the strip.
