this is a good disgussion, but how can it look bad the big hole will be hidden the little hols will be in the grill where it looks like they are already.

The actual shaker unit itself rests on the engine, with a square hole in the hood. The shaker has rubber around where the hood comes done, so that no water touches the engine. Any water that gets inside the induction system gets stuck in the air filter.

either way...really no point in drilling out the holes...if you want better induction and cooling, just go spend 200 bucks on a JLT CAI....not worth screwing something up that will cost more than that...

My friend has holes drilled in his no-scoop 00' GT hood drilled by the previous owner...
When I pulled the coils and plugsfor him (car was running rough/misfiring) their was water all over the boots and RUST on the plugs on the drivers side head... Needless to say those scoopholes are now covered.
