96 gt vert

i just looked on houston craiglist and saw a 96 mustang gt 5 speed for $4200. he said the only thing wrong with it is that the convertible top needs to be repaired and i was wondering if yall knew how much it would be to just get a new top???

A new top itself is $300 plus install which is a bitch.

I had to have my top redone when I bought my 98 vert. The seams around the rear window and driver door had seperated. It cost $657.34 took the shop a week and I changed the color from s*** tan to black. The guy said, they could have just reseamed it for about $300, but I hate tan. Oh and it has a 3 year warrenty on it.
