I've got a stock 2v and want to go f/i and would like to keep it under 3k for the whole kit. I've heard about the Mongoose being the lowest priced but how does it perform against other higher priced kits....Thanks for your help!!

with your 3k budget you'll have to source everything used, but the vortech is a good SC

I'd save another $1,500 to $2,000 dollars for a better kit....... or just go nitrous.... Juice is FUN!

You want find a good kit for under 3k, the mongoose kit is the best deal, they have vortech, paxton, and kb mongoose kits.
