12 would even be fine on a stock bottom end, so long as you're not pushing 450+ to the wheels. the psi isn't what kills our engine, it's the power that it gives you.

yes, now i have a built block, but i was hitting about 11psi before i did all this and now i have a 3.10" on and i'm hitting 13psi.

once i hit 16lbs on a stock bottom end and it was fine.... normally i would hit 10-11 psi.... it runs fine with it.. i have a 3.33 inch pulley....... you probably have like a 3.6 or 3.8 inch pulley...

2.6 would probably start slipping like crazy. my tuner says he wouldn't go lower than 2.8, which should get me to about 16psi.

hmmm..... maybe on here or check on another mustang site. call paxton/vortech.... maybe a search on google??

also.... why do you stop at 5500 rpms? sounds like you have a 8psi pulley... it will make 8 psi around 5800-6000 rpms...

my power started dropping because of the fact that my MAF pegged at like 4100 rpms and we had to remove all the timing from there up, but that'll change soon
