Ok... so as you all know I have a "Cobra Clone" or as some call it... a "Fobra"... Cobra wannabe, Cobrafied, whatever.... originally I bought the car with all the emblems/bumpers on it, I had 2 options, Cobra clone yes, or Cobra clone no... originally I decided Cobra clone yes! But I have been thinking alot about my car lately, and where I want to go with it... and I have decided to get rid of everything that says Cobra, SVT, or is a Snake, Im going to keep the front bumper because I like it alot better than the GT bumper, and since the car needs paint anyways I am going to Shave off all the emblems! And possibly the side skirts, since I cant seem to find the Bullitts, and fake plastic scoops are just plain stupid to me! I am getting a Cowl hood, and I need to replace my dash cluster, and Steering wheel air bag, (it says Cobra). But what I want to know is does anyone know anything about the 03/04 rear Cobra bumpers that are smooth in the back... that is with out the "Cobra" on it?? I think they look just plain SICK! Can you buy them? And if so where?? Or do I need to have the "Cobra" shaved?

i already looked into getting the cobra filled in if i were to get the rear bumper. i went to a guy in my town who has a body shop and he told me $250 cash to get the bumper filled, preped and painted. but i only went to him and he is kind of a friend so i don't know if that is a good price or not........

this pic was posted a few days ago...tailights are homo and the Saleen spoiler doesn't flow but just for reference:
i chopped this one...i think the bumper looks WIDE and naked without any lettering so i added the MUSTANG letters...it looks good shaved only on darker colors
if i ever did it i would hack up my old bumper and mold that whole center section in to the Cobra bumper so it said MUSTANG on it....here is a pic of a Bullitt with that bumper:

Great idea to shave the Cobra bumper. I absolutely cant stand Fobras. I am glad you are seeing the light. $250 to prep, paint, and shave is a really good price. I was quoted $400 to prep and paint my Saleen bumper. I guess since you said, "cash" that may factor in as well.

theres that bumper idk were i got the picture from im thinkin it came off of one of those kits to make ur 99-04 look like an 05+ prettty gay i know but i thought the bumper looked pretty sweeet... and jus have a shaved trunklid.. if you can read the site thats across the pic you could probably buy it from them seperatly
