Nope. 5-spd Machs have forged cranks, but pistons and rods are GT'ish. Fun cars. They could handle 400rwhp(~8-9PSI)

but it is the same 4 valve motor as the cobras, just without the built botton end, so it could/should be able to handle more then the limitations of the 2 valve motor which is around 425 (safely)

ok, so to upgrade all i would have to do is get forged internals and basically i would have a cobra engine minus the supercharger

Umm nope. It doesnt have a built bottom end. It IS NOT the same engine as the cobra. So, try again.

The rods will not hold any more than a GT

If you forge the bottom end, you have a forged Mach motor. Nothing more, nothing less. Theres nothing Cobra about it.

ALL SVT engines are HAND BUILT. Mach is not.

But it is NOT the same 4 valve engine as the Cobras. This has been beaten to death, still idiots will tell you they are the same.

AGAIN SVT ENGINES ARE HAND BUILT AND ARE NOT COMPARABLE TO ANY OTHER ENGINE

kweb, Mach's are Badass, and a nice step up from the GT. They are rare, and respond very well to mods.
