the stock shifter is long and angular. ive seen a few that are just shorter with less of an angle that look really good. also, is there a substitute look for the leather that wraps around the shift rod?

That was my thread, right after I installed my MGW.
The guys name is cliffyk, close jaybird. Heres the pic. It looks super clean, I just wish I had the talent to fabricate that.

ill do ya one better...if you have myspace...i have videos of it. if you dont...give me a couple of days and ill try to post em on youtube or streetfire.
there are 2 vids i have...one of stock dry shifting thru gears and one right after install of dry shifting thru gears. you can definitely see the difference. let me know if you have myspace and ill post a link for ya.
