Default C&L vs Accufab Plenum?

I know, another plenum post, but I am getting a C&L truflow intake kit with 80mm MAF housing and was wondering if I should stick with a C&L plenum and BBK 75mm TB or go with the Accufab plenum and 75mm TB. What do you guys think?

Just stick with what you have. Accufab does flow the best, but it will only be a few HP over what you already have now. It'd be a waste of money to switch IMO.

well if you were going with the bbk tb then you should get the bbk plenum so it will look cleaner.

Stick with what you have. Why the hell would you switch? They're the same. Its sad that a couple stupid articles on the Internet sway so many people in theirdecisions.

Think about it. How the hell could there be a significant difference in the two that warrants an extrahundred or two bucks (unless you want to pay for the bling or its a show car)? They're all the same basic design, with the exception of the dragon (which looks likea POS plenum IMO).

Where are the flow numbers that prove accufab is the best? That famousdyno article that everyone refers to only tells me that they're allpretty muchthe same.

The only reason I have an accufab is I got it used on ebay. I HIGHLY doubt you'll notice any difference if you switch. Maybe youll pick up an extra .000001 sec in the 1/4 with your lighter wallet.

I have to believe that getting a 75mm TB and either a C&L or Accufab plenum will have to make some difference over stock. Are you guys saying that I should just stick with my stock TB and pleunum and call it a day?

I ported my T/B and polished my inner plenum and it made a world of diff for throttle response. I installed an Accufab 75mm T/B and Plenum and didn't fel much difference at all for response and maybe a smidgen up top because the butterfly plate is obviously larger! You can only port it asmuch as the plate will allow you because it does need to seal when closed!~My car is very jumpyat low rpms from before it lagged.I sold it and using my stocker now that's slightly ported for response! I think it's a waste of money for the amount they want for them, but I think that C&L is just as good as Accufab and certainly cheaper. Save the $350 and buy some Lt's for real gains!

I thought you already have the C&L/BBK? If not then yes a 75mm tb/plenum combo is a good idea. But my previous statements still apply.
