Default HOMEMADE CAI

I was looking at the JLT CAI and it seems like i can make one from the hardware store for my 02 GT. Is there anyone that has design specs to make a homemade CAI? or any pics to help me would be greatly appreciated. And will i have problems since ik there are airflow sensors and does my car have a IAC sensor?

heres wat i kinda want one like

The JLT's are made of PVC pipe, which wouldn't be too hard to make. You will still have to pay $50 or $60for an air filter and heat shield.

Yeah I bet you could, looks easy enough. Lowes even sells thoe step down rubber fittings. Give it a shot and take some pics. Im curious to see what yours ends up looking like.

Here are some ideas..

Yeah its seems pretty easy took some photos to take to lowes to get the parts. my only thing im wondering about is the PVC Hoses and IAC hoses, gotta try to figure out how i can make a place for them to slide in. and i wasnt gonna go PVC piping i was gonna go a slicone tubing like them. But i will make sure to take pics of the how it looks and post it. but any ideas for the hoses could help thanks

Just drill a hole and put one of these in it and put a nut behind it. Then you can slide the hose on.... Put some silicone or something to make it air tight between the hose fitting and the nut though....
